Sometimes, how you package your tees is as important as the actual tee. Especially if you are trying to create a brand. Now you don’t have to spend boatloads of money on your t-shirt packaging because that would make your products more expensive (no one likes that). The picture on the shirt is of Pearl Messina, the daughter of Joseph Messina, who owned the Bay City Packing Company which distributed oyster, shrimp, fish and roe throughout the United States. One of his labels, which is printed on the shirt, was the pearl brand, named of course after his daughter.
