Universal Music Enterprises is getting a head start on the 20th birthday celebration by reissuing the film’s soundtrack on vinyl, just in time for Record Store Day on Tuesday.
You can snatch up the exclusive yellow-and-black plaid edition of the album at participating Urban Outfitters locations (other retailers will be carrying different-colored vinyl) and relive your best ’90s dreams with technology that was outdated even when this soundtrack first arrived on shelves.
AMERICAN HUSTLE VINYL SOUNDTRACK
The American Hustle vinyl features six songs not included on the original release. Packaged in a gatefold sleeve featuring a brand new illustration of the film’s poster artwork illustrated by Michael Gillette, the records are pressed on 150-gram red and blue vinyl with “2-eye” stereo labels that replicate 1960s pressings from Columbia Records.
GRAND THEFT AUTO VINYL RECORD SOUNDTRACK
The vinyl collection will feature a total of six vinyl records, a full color booklet and an exclusive lithograph poster in a classic box-set. ‘The Music of Grand Theft Auto V’ limited edition collections include 59 tracks with original music from A$AP Rocky, Tyler, The Creator, Twin Shadow, Wavves, Flying Lotus, Yeasayer, and more.
