Stare at these images for one whole minute without blinking and you will get goose bumps all over. The \u2018paper-cut\u2019 pictures of kids pasted on eerie photographs of the woods, lake, and mountains have a haunting effect.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s as if these kids were murdered in these places and that they are now lonely wandering spirits looking for justice. Maybe it’s because of how these little kids were sketched. Examine their faces.<\/p>\n

They look really old. Or maybe, maybe I just had too much coffee. Please tell me if it has the same effect on you.<\/p>\n

This strange, almost hypnotizing, album artwork is created by Ingibj\u00f6rg Birgisd\u00f3ttir for the Icelandic band Mum.<\/p>\n

Four interchangeable cards containing 7 of Birgisd\u00f3ttir\u2019s illustrations are inserted into the package. These can be swapped around to change the front cover image on the album.<\/p>\n
