Look at that. It’s just like an old polaroid photo from your mom’s treasure box. This is actually a picture of 80-90s image model Ann Kirsten Kennis and ,apparently, the band used it without permission. Kennis was flattered at first but then she realized how improper it is for the band to use her picture.<\/p>\n \u201cWho do these people think they are that they can just take my picture from god only knows where and plaster it everywhere?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n A $2 million misappropriation-of-image lawsuit in Los Angeles against Vampire Weekend, Tod Brody, and the band\u2019s London-based label, XL Recordings.<\/p>\n Annie Clark, the musician otherwise known as St. Vincent, projects an aura of eerie perfection–her wide eyes and porcelain features give her the appearance of a cartoon princess come to life.<\/p>\n This guy is not a member of the band.\u00a0 He\u2019s not their manager either. He is Jorge Garcia<\/a>, who plays Hurley from Lost (the TV series).<\/p>\n \u201cWe just wanted to use that picture of Jorge Garcia\u2019s face on the cover. It\u2019s such an amazing album cover, and we didn\u2019t want to have any other words on it, so we just figured everyone was going to call it Hurley, so that\u2019s what we call it.\u201dA for effort!
