It has gained lots of buzz during the pandemic and since then, musicians have been releasing on the format along with usual digital and CD formats. <\/span><\/p>\n

#25. SOVIET UNION\u00a0<\/b>X- RAY VINYL RECORD<\/b><\/h3>\n

The real-looking bacon vinyl from the punk band, unfortunately, has a limited number of copies with all 500 units numbered and sold.<\/span><\/p>\n

Screamo band from Connecticut, Jeromes Dream, and hardcore punk band from Massachussets, Orchid, released a 10\u201d split vinyl record shaped and designed like a skull. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s single sided with the other side silk screened. <\/span><\/p>\n

Their tracks start in the middle, Jeromes Dream\u2019s tracks are on the outside while Orchid\u2019s are on the inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

The limited edition clear vinyl of Talking Heads\u2019 <\/span>Speaking in Tongues<\/span><\/i> album was released in 1983.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes with three slip mats colored pink, yellow and blue.<\/span><\/p>\n

To promote the single, the band had Curtis Godino make 7\u201d vinyl records for the single. <\/span><\/p>\n

The record\u2019s first pressing had two colored liquids one was in blue and the other in red, this created an awesome show as the liquids slipped around the record, never quite mixing.<\/span><\/p>\n

They attempted to make it look as real as ever by including holes in the record and even colored it with a cheesy yellow color.<\/span><\/p>\n
