San Francisco\u2019s most popular and powerful political punk rock band released a 180 gram <\/span>12-inch vinyl record<\/a><\/strong> version of their 1980 debut album <\/span>Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables<\/span><\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n

With the version came a 82.6 x 56.5 cm portrait poster. The poster is black and white and has newspaper clips, photographs and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

#3 <\/b>ST. VINCENT – MASSEDUCTION<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"st.<\/p>\n

Annie Clarka, professionally known as St. Vincent released her fifth album <\/span>Masseduction<\/span><\/i> and had a limited custom vinyl pressing of it on opaque pink colored vinyl. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was released in Loma Vista together with a 24\u201d x 24\u201d foldout poster that presents her half lying on the floor while surrounded with three women\u2019s legs in different sitting positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

#4 THE BLACK KEYS – BROTHERS<\/b><\/h3>\n

In celebration of The Black Keys\u2019 <\/span>Brothers<\/span><\/i>\u2019 10th anniversary, a deluxe remastered edition of the album was released. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was released on vinyl record albums containing two 12-inch black vinyl records<\/a><\/strong> with 3 bonus tracks, liner notes by David Frcicke, and a huge foldout poster. <\/span><\/p>\n

The poster features the two members in black and white while they seem to be rehearsing or recording.<\/span><\/p>\n

#5 VAN HALEN – WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST<\/b><\/h3>\n

The rock band\u2019s 1980 vinyl record album<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>Women and Children First<\/span><\/i> is truly one of the albums you need to have. <\/span>Apparently the poster included in the album package is a limited edition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The poster is a 36\u201d x 24\u201d foldout black and white poster that features a bare-chested Dave lee Roth.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pressing came with a rare poster box that features an uncensored Adam Clayton cover. I bet it\u2019s one of the rare ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

#7 MAC DEMARCO – 2<\/b><\/h3>\n

Mac Demarco\u2019s album <\/span>2<\/span><\/i> has one of the most cool posters to have ever existed. The poster is like a piece of paper where someone doodled just about anything they can think of. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s so much going on and though they look nonsensical, they\u2019re there for a purpose. They\u2019re there to send or portray a message.<\/span><\/p>\n

#8 CRASS – CHRIST: THE ALBUM<\/b><\/h3>\n

The vinyl album consists of two 12-inch vinyl records<\/a><\/strong>, a booklet, and a poster. The poster is a famous satirical poster that features Thatcher, Reagan, and Brejnev in ambiguous postures. <\/span><\/p>\n

It also includes a quotation from Ralph Waldo Emerson<\/a>, \u201cAn institution is the lengthened shadow of one person\u201d, in bold letters.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also includes a poster printed with an artwork of a girl donning a black ballerina dress while holding a glass with red liquid inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first Australian pressing of the album was considered rare. It even came with a poster, which I assume is also a rare one.<\/span><\/p>\n

The American rock band, Kiss\u2019, eighth studio album <\/span>Unmasked<\/span><\/i> was released in 1980 on vinyl records<\/a><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The album included a 24\u201d x 36\u201d foldout poster that presents the four members\u2019 cartoon character unmasking themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

#12 THE ROLLING STONES – GOATS HEAD SOUP<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Rolling Stones\u2019 <\/span>Goats Head Soup<\/span><\/i> vinyl album comes with a special poster that features a goat\u2019s head in a soup.<\/span><\/p>\n

#13 RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS – THE GETAWAY<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Getaway<\/span><\/i> is an album by Red Hot Chili Peppers that was released with a beautiful aesthetic album cover. <\/span><\/p>\n

So aside from the <\/span>single jacket<\/a><\/strong>, a 48\u201d x 32\u201d poster was also printed with the artwork.<\/span><\/p>\n

#14 THE BEACH BOYS – ENDLESS SUMMER<\/b><\/h3>\n

The album by The Beach Boys, titled <\/span>Endless Summer<\/span><\/i>, was released on vinyl records with a gatefold jacket<\/a> <\/strong>and two vinyl record discs. <\/span><\/p>\n

A poster is also inside the jacket that shows two small flying planes carrying banners that say \u201cEndless Summer\u201d, on the upper part, and \u201cBeach boys, on the lower one.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pressing comes with a fold-out poster that features tons of naked women riding bikes while on the starting line. One of the true rare ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

#16 EAGLES – HOTEL CALIFORNIA<\/b><\/h3>\n

Hotel California<\/span><\/i>\u2019s first original vinyl pressing<\/strong><\/a> is another gem to seek. <\/span><\/p>\n

It came with a rare fold-out poster that features the members of the band as they sit and pose.<\/span><\/p>\n

#17 FLEETWOOD MAC – RUMOURS<\/b><\/h3>\n

One of Fleetwood Mac\u2019s successful albums, <\/span>Rumours<\/span><\/i>, is here with its original poster released together with the album in 1977. The poster is a collage of photographs that mostly featured the duo.<\/span><\/p>\n

#18 AC\/DC – 3-LP ALBUM BOX SET<\/b><\/h3>\n

This 3-LP album box set features the albums <\/span>High Voltage<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Powerage<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The vinyl record disc<\/strong> of each album had individual printed paper inner sleeves. <\/span>The box set<\/a><\/strong> also includes a 23\u201d x 12\u201d black and white poster of Angus while he plays his bass guitar.<\/span><\/p>\n

#19 MADONNA – TRUE BLUE<\/b><\/h3>\n

Madonna\u2019s <\/span>True Blue<\/span><\/i> album cover was another exquisite artwork that deserves to be pasted or thumbtacked to a wall. <\/span><\/p>\n

The album\u2019s rare blue vinyl<\/a> <\/strong>New Zealand promotional pressing came with a poster that extends the album cover to show her exposed upper back and shoulders and black top.<\/span><\/p>\n

#20 PRINCE – PURPLE RAIN<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"prince<\/p>\n

Purple Rain<\/span><\/i> had a limited vinyl pressing<\/a><\/strong> for its remastered version last 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n

Its remastering was apparently overseen by Prince himself. The limited album had a poster inclusion printed with the same artwork from the original 1984 release.<\/span><\/p>\n
