Album artwork is a very crucial part in a music release because not only will it give the initial impression of what the music is going to be like, it also establishes the identity of the musician. And especially now that people prefer to stream or download, it’s an added bonus if you have a very attention-grabbing cd or vinyl packaging. Max Allison<\/a>: \u201cFor Walkthrough, the base template onto which I layered different textures was a screenshot from the Super Nintendo game Umihara Kawase. I love the elegance of this game\u2019s checkered platforms, all laid out against simple backgrounds into a kind of floating world through which the player swings and climbs around. On top of the base layer, I mixed in imagery from other games like Mega Man X, Super Castlevania IV, F-Zero, and Indiana Jones (all for Super Nintendo).<\/p>\n
