The Bay-area bandleader who released his self-titled full-length debut\u00a0came up with the design and enlisted world-renown model builder Lisa Gemmiti to help execute the album art.<\/p>\n

The cover of the CD digipak features a jumper on the ledge of a building while reams of onlookers gawk.<\/p>\n

“I was trying to capture the notion that America has a very voyeuristic attitude about tragedy. The figure on the building isn’t actually a jumper, he’s just trying to stay above the fray and set himself apart. It’s darkly humorous and represents the tragicomic vibe of my album,” explains Day.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

What I love about this CD Digipak artwork is the photo itself. No need for frills and gimmick with the CD packaging if you have a really catchy album artwork.<\/p>\n
